LAST TUESDAY'S ATHENIANS WORKSHOP A COMPLETE SUCCESS

The Athenians Committee would like to sincerely thank both Div B Governor, Freddie Daniels, and our own beloved Paul Carroll for running what could only be described as a superb Workshop!! If any of you Athenians missed it, then you should be head-butting the nearest available concrete surface right about now. It not only imparted vital information / knowledge to new and advanced members alike but also gave us practical tips, advice and skills in relation to how to approach, write and prepare speeches and how to evaluate a speech properly all of which are so important!!!

ATHENIANS WORKSHOP THIS TUESDAY 24th FEBRUARY 2009

Two of our all-time favourite and masterful London Toastmasters will be providing you and other Athenians with the skills and knowledge you have always dreamt of receiving so as to really increase your abilities and help you develop as a speaker and as an evaluator.

Olivier Bouseau is one of the most popular Athenians in history so it was with tremendous pleasure that Mr Bourseau who is 'living the dream' obliterated his objectives, his tenth speech goals, won best speaker and also happened to accomplished his CC on Tuesday 17 February 2009!!

Well done Olivier from all of us!

Darren Mothersele has given endlessly to Athenians, particularly last year when he was the EVP and also set up this very website for which all Athenians are very grateful to him for. It was fantastic to see Darren accomplish his CC on Tuesday 10 February 2009!! We are all of course very sorry to see Darren go (off to Sardinia) but look forward to him visiting us whenever he is back in London and more importantly us catching up for a beer with him when we hang out there!!
